The Canon EOS C200 EF Cinema Camera integrates a Super 35mm CMOS sensor with Dual DIGIC DV 6 image processors, enabling DCI 4K, UHD, and Full HD acquisition. A primary technical highlight is the internal recording of Canon Cinema RAW Light to a single CFast 2.0 slot, alongside dual SD card slots for UHD 4K/HD MP4 capture. The system utilizes Dual Pixel CMOS AF technology for continuous phase-difference autofocus, featuring an AF Lock setting and compatibility with EF-mount lenses, including CN-E cinema glass and STM series.

Operational specifications include approximately 13 stops of dynamic range, supporting Canon Log, Canon Log 3, and Wide DR Gamma. The native ISO range of 160 to 25,600 is expandable from 100 to 102,400. For monitoring, the camera features a built-in 1.23MP color EVF and a removable 4" touchscreen LCD.
